Igniting creative confidence & driving place-based transformation in Bequia

Safe spaces heal, offering refuge, sparking inspiration, and nurturing creativity, care, and joy. They are the heart where community spirit breathes and grows. The Hub Collective Inc. stands as Bequia’s sanctuary, a shared haven where youth, creatives and the wider public come together to heal, create, and belong.

Our Pillars

  • The Arts

Representation empowers us; seeing ourselves reflected ignites confidence, awakens creativity, and deepens our capacity to listen, learn, and lead with clarity, purpose, and pride in who we are becoming.

  • Healing

When we heal our minds and bodies, we ignite the restoration of our families, communities, and the land that sustains us, reclaiming balance and connection across generations and ecosystems.

  • The Environment

The natural world holds the wisdom and medicine that sustain us. In this era of climate crisis, we are cultivating a new generation of stewards to protect, heal, and restore our Earth.

Featured Project

Bush Medicine Revival

Bush Medicine Revival uses a medicinal garden and storytelling to promote community healing and environmental stewardship through the recovery of Traditional Ecological Knowledge on Bequia. Bush Medicine Revival is supported by the Prince Claus Fund for Culture and Development and Goethe-Institut and is a part of their Cultural and Artistic Responses to Environmental Change. In 2023, we were awarded a grant from the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Conservation Fund (SVGCF), which continues to build on the foundation of the prior grants from PCF and Goethe-Institut.

β€œMy time at The Hub Collective has moulded me into a better version of myself. My role made me aware of the spectacular local market of handcrafted items and the range of artisans that are creating. I was able to give back to my community, develop my writing, and gain a deeper appreciation for art and photography through my work. I found myself being more creative, confident in myself and communicative.”
