Action Bequia
During the immediate aftermath of the La Soufrière eruptions in April, The Hub conceptualised our annual Creative Recovery Summer Camp (CSRC), to grow more awareness, confidence, healing, direction and passion in our Bequia and displaced youth. Action Bequia stepped in and generously donated funding to start three modules abstracted from the CRSC and our ongoing psychosocial support efforts. Action Bequia has also supported our Positive Vibes Festival since its inception in 2016. We are thrilled to partner with this local Community Development Corporation to bring to life youth programming.

Grenadines Initiative and Friends of the GI
The Grenadines Initiative was launched in the spring of 2018 in order to extend the work of the Bequia Mission, renew engagement, and restate the vision that has led the mission since it was founded in 1970. As such, the Grenadines Initiative is built on the shoulders of the leaders and volunteers that have done vital work for more than four decades. GI believes in working hand-in-hand with existing programs and local leadership, and they have welcomed us into a partnership to bolster our ability to fundraise and acquire tax deductible donations in Canada.

The National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC)
The National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC) of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines was established to coordinate an effective telecommunications regulatory strategy enhancing the sustainable development of the country. NTRC collaborated with us in June 2021, to establish the first community-friendly Wifi Zone in Bequia. This is important as we are planning more activities in the communal yard space of The Hub, and will eventually host monthly screenings of the Caribbean and African diaspora films. The partnership will bring to life the main activation sites for our Bush Medicine Revival project.
