A place akin
to home
Mission
The Hub Collective (THC) is a community-rooted nonprofit based in Bequia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Founded in 2017 by a group of artists, entrepreneurs, and social activists, THC was born from a deep awareness of the urgent need for creative, healing-centred, and environmentally conscious spaces for youth and communities in the Grenadines.
Our mission is to strengthen intergenerational connection, preserve cultural heritage, and build climate resilience through creative expression, ecological stewardship, and collective care. THC works at the powerful intersection of Arts, Healing, and the Environment to ignite creative confidence and drive equitable, place-based transformation.
Vision
At The Hub Collective, we envision a thriving, resilient Grenadines where communities lead their cultural revival, creative expression, and ecological stewardship—grounded in care, justice, and collective power.
Space
The Hub functions as a place akin to a home, where we bring out hidden and underdeveloped talent in Bequia youth by fostering exchange, the knowing of self and others while building trust on the grounds of mutual respect. It is a place for daydreaming and dreaming more widely, where Bequians can form new bonds with friends, mentors, leaders and elders, while also working on their artistic and personal aspirations.
Philosophy
The Hub exists to equip Bequia's youth and broader Grenadines community with the tools, strategies, and vision needed to ignite meaningful transformation. We believe creativity is not a luxury—it is a life force. We cultivate identity, resilience, and belonging through art, expression, and collective imagination. Each creative act becomes a declaration of possibility, sowing seeds of conscious, joyful change in self and society.

Our Beliefs
Creativity is the lifeblood that sustains and renews our communities.
Every youth and adult on Bequia deserves to thrive with dignity and opportunity.
Informal education holds transformative power, unlocking potential beyond traditional systems.
Preserving and strengthening our culture is a vital form of resistance against privatisation and gentrification.
True sustainability arises from solidarity-based partnerships rooted in mutual respect, not charity.
Justice Must Be Regenerative: We stand for climate, social, and cultural justice that restores rather than extracts, connects rather than divides.
Our Story
For the past nine years, our work has been a healing song, restoring what our communities have lost: sacred lands, cherished traditions, and timeless rituals that bind us to our roots and each other.
Founded in 2017 by a collective of creatives, entrepreneurs, and social activists, The Hub Collective emerged in response to the urgent challenges facing youth on Bequia—and the untapped talent, resilience, and innovation within them. The Hub fills critical gaps left by the formal education system through alternative, youth-centred methodologies inspired by “unschooling,” emphasising learner-led exploration, creativity, and emotional well-being.
Our programs create safe, inclusive spaces where young people reconnect with their sense of self, build confidence, and cultivate life skills through culturally grounded, experiential learning. This holistic approach nurtures well-rounded, adaptable youth prepared to lead in their communities and respond to life’s challenges with agility, creativity, and care.
In Bequia, we have a small enough microcosm and a tremendous opportunity to, in effect, pivot our collective consciousness towards manifesting new transformative realities for the future.
“I was blown away by the INCREDIBLE positive vibes that greeted me when I entered The Hub Collective! I find it moving, remembering when it was an abstract concept, and seeing what you all have made happen. WOW!!!! Everyone is lovely, the shop is very cool, the drumming touched my heart.”
